They are "vented" to allow the ambient sound to penetrate the ear while providing a clear audio signal from your radio. The molded earpieces mimic the shape of our ears and lock into place, which lessens the chances of falling out during a foot pursuit or other physical activity. Available in Small, Medium and Large.
